Our Process
Welcome to our wedding photography process—a personalized, creative approach to telling the story of your wedding day. Having photographed hundreds of weddings over the past 15 years, we’ve learned that no two are ever the same—and we never treat them as such. While we may return to the same venue again and again, we never replicate our approach. Lighting, florals, personalities, and emotions all shift, and so does the way we document each celebration.
If you love our work and want your day captured in our natural style, we offer photography packages for weddings, micro-weddings, and elopements that include:
• Comprehensive photography coverage
• Collaborative timeline planning
• Engagement sessions
• Heirloom albums
• Sneak previews
• And lots of care, craft, and communication along the way
As experienced Boston wedding photographers, we blend multiple photography styles—from documentary and candid to editorial and artistic portraiture—adapting our approach to reflect who you are. If you’re edgy, your photos will have an edge. If you’re romantic, your photos will show it. That’s part of what makes this work exciting for us every time.
Both Aaron and Nanore were not only amazing to work with, but captured the day and our personalities perfectly. It was literally the best decision we made.
—Dorothy P.
They are exceptionally talented photographers. We wanted to avoid fake-looking or cheesy photos and instead wanted natural, candid, beautiful photos. Aaron and Nanore excel at these types of shots.

They really know how to create magic in just minutes.

In Their Words
The Simple Steps, From Planning to Delivery
1. Inquire
Fill out our simple inquiry form and briefly tell us about your day.
2. Consider Your Options
We’ll respond within 24 hours to confirm availability and answer any initial questions. In the meantime, you can explore our wedding photography packages directly on the website to get a feel for coverage options, add-ons, and what might best fit your day.
3. Chat
You’ll likely have questions about photography, the timeline, or our approach. Let’s talk! Whether it’s via email, phone, or Zoom, we want to make sure we’re the right fit.
4. Secure Your Date
If everything feels like the right fit, we’ll send over a simple contract outlining what’s included. Once it’s signed and the retainer is received, your date is officially reserved.
5. Engagement Session
Think of this as a fun date—with a photographer in tow. We’ll help you choose a location (and outfits if you’d like), and capture your genuine interactions as you explore, laugh, and maybe even share a slice of pizza or a drink. Our goal? To make you feel comfortable in front of the camera before the big day. Many camera-shy couples say this session turns their nerves into excitement.
6. Planning Your Wedding Day Coverage
With 15 years of wedding photography and backgrounds in photojournalism, we’re ready for anything. That said, we love a well-planned timeline—and we’ll work with you and/or your planner to build a seamless photography plan.
Whether your wedding is meticulously scheduled or free-spirited, we’ll be there with flexibility, creativity, and quick reflexes. We’ll collaborate on two key photography lists that will guide us on the big day and offer tips from our years of experience.
7. The Week Before
We’ll check in 2-3 weeks out to review the final timeline, key people or moments, and any last-minute changes. If weather is a concern, we’ll go over backup plans with you and your venue.
8. Wedding Day Coverage
You might be jittery, but you’ll be in good hands.
We’ll document the day with care and intuition—switching between unobtrusive photojournalism, gentle guidance, and editorial portraiture. We’ll direct family photos efficiently, and fade into the background for dancing and candid moments.
We’re also the people who can pin boutonnieres, mend buttons, soothe nerves, and carry hairpins and Band-Aids. We show up as your photographers—but we’re also by your side as calm, prepared, supportive friends who happen to love photography.
9. Editing & Delivery
As soon as we get home, we upload all the images from our dual-slot cameras—giving us triple backups before edits even begin. If your package includes a sneak preview, we’ll send a few favorites within the first week. Then we begin the culling and editing process—one photo at a time. Every edit is done in-house, fueled by strong coffee and a playlist of punk rock and metal (we hope that’s not a dealbreaker).
Within 12 weeks, you’ll receive:
• An online gallery that you can curate and share, and which is also connected to a print shop for added convenience
• A thumb drive with high-resolution files
• A few surprise goodies (no spoilers, but our Instagram stories might have hints)
10. Designing Your Heirloom Wedding Album
Once you’ve chosen your favorites, we’ll create a custom design—incorporating your selections along with a few of our own. With your approval, we send it to our trusted album maker in Thessaloniki, Greece.
Our handcrafted Heirloom Albums feature:
• Real or art leather covers with stitched details
• Lay-flat binding
• 15 spreads on Fuji DPII Lustre matte paper
• Linen face-off sheets
• A matching handmade presentation box
They’re a joy to hold, and a lasting way to relive your wedding day.
