Getting Ready at the Langham Hotel

Their morning began at the Langham Boston, one of the city’s most timeless getting-ready locations. Kerry and her bridesmaids prepped in a light-filled suite, while Perry and his groomsmen shared laughs (and a few celebratory drinks) nearby. We also explored the Langham’s iconic hallways for portraits—including the playful pink phone booth.

A First Look in the Wyeth Room

The couple’s first look took place in the Langham’s grand Wyeth Room. With its arched windows, gold-coffered ceilings, and murals, the room offered a beautiful backdrop. Afterward, we visited Christopher Columbus Park for classic bridal party photos before the formal events began.

Tea Ceremony at the State Room Boston

Before the main ceremony, Kerry changed into a red and gold Qun Kwa—a traditional Chinese wedding dress. The tea ceremony was held in the State Room’s Cityside Room. It was intimate, heartfelt, and truly meaningful.

By late afternoon, Kerry changed back into her white gown. As guests entered the State Room, they walked down a long hallway lined with four-foot-tall, backlit portraits from Kerry and Perry’s engagement sessions with us. The glowing images cast a soft, elegant light across the corridor—setting the tone for the celebration ahead and adding a deeply personal touch to the space.

The Great Room was ready for the wedding ceremony. Lush florals lined the windows, and the clock of the Custom House Tower loomed large outside—marking time as guests arrived.

Kerry changed outfits twice more: first into a sleek red Qipao, then into a chic white mini dress for the bouquet toss from the mezzanine. Every element reflected their unique style and thoughtful planning.
