“We chose Spagnolo Photography for both our engagement photos and wedding photography and could not have been happier with the results. Aaron and Nanore delivered in every way—from the beautifully composed images… to the fun, energetic, and creative attitude they brought to the entire process. Their unique style resulted in a wide variety of pictures from the standard posed sets, to candids… to more artistic images taking full advantage of every setting… Where Spagnolo Photography went above and beyond our expectations though was in all the other ways they helped make our ‘big day’ a success. From diving into a pile of leaves to get the right angle, to helping bustle dresses at the reception, and fielding questions from us on everything from how to adapt to the weather to song recommendations for dancing, they were incredible partners and we were constantly grateful to have them by our side.”

“Aaron and Nanore were awesome from the moment we contacted them. Every and all communication were so prompt, and they were on top of everything until the day of. I initially contacted them because of all the subtlety they caught that I’ve noticed in their portfolios. Of course, there are some poses here and there, but nothing felt forced. Everything seemed so natural, and when we saw previews of our wedding photos, they really did catch the personalities of our party. Favorite part of the whole session is the photos near the cows at the Barn at Gibbet Hill. As we were going up the hill to the ceremony location, they noticed some great views and a beautiful tree to take beautiful shots. We did have to walk through the cow dungs, but Aaron and Nanore both walked ahead of us and made sure we did not step in them or get our clothes dirty…. I’ve reached out to many photographers and Aaron and Nanore provided outstanding quality and a package that no one else can compete even in terms of pricing. They were so popular, a lot of my guests asked for their information AND our family from Texas squeezed in a photo session to celebrate their 1 year old baby milestone. Awesome team, cutest couple, GREAT service : ) I can’t wait to work with them again for our future milestones.”

“We are so happy we found Spagnolo Photography! Aaron and Nanore are both so easy to work with— they are both very friendly and personable, and are extremely communicative throughout the whole process. Neither my partner nor I are comfortable in front of the camera, but they were able to put us at ease and made the whole experience fun. We worked with Aaron on our engagement photos, which was so fun, and they came out amazing. I appreciated how he worked with us to be more comfortable in front of the camera, and how creative he was in finding the perfect locations for the pictures. For the wedding, Aaron and Nanore were with us the whole day, and fit in with our guests seamlessly, so everyone felt comfortable as their pictures were taken. I really appreciated how creative they were with our formal photos, and they were able to get so many amazing candid shots. We are so happy to be able to relive our wedding through these amazing photos!”

“We booked Aaron and Nanore because we read glowing reviews about them everywhere we looked. From our engagement photos to our wedding day itself, my wife and I can now say for sure that they exceeded our expectations and lived up to the excellent reviews! Aaron and Nanore are a super down-to-earth couple with a great eye for amazing shots. They’re willing to get their hands dirty to snap the perfect pictures and make the experience super fun. All of our guests had nothing but great feedback about the two, and we could do nothing but brag about how lucky we were to have them capture our wedding day. We appreciated the two different perspectives they provided on our wedding day, different, but both equally amazing. Very much recommend Spagnolo Photography to anyone looking for not only great photographers, but great people. Thanks, Aaron and Nanore, for being a part of our big day!”

“Aaron and Nanore were absolutely fabulous for our wedding. Photography was the thing that I cared about most for the wedding, besides marrying my husband. Both Aaron and Nanore were not only amazing to work with, but captured the day and our personalities perfectly. It was literally the best decision we made. The wedding day goes by so quickly, and I even have a hard time remembering most of it, but because we now have so many beautiful pictures and special moments captured, I get to relive the day over and over again. What I loved most about this dynamic duo was their ability to be creative. I didn’t want pictures where we were just standing and smiling at the camera. Some of my favorite pictures were when Aaron suggested I twirl in my dress and when Nanore caught me making funny faces at my bridesmaids. They made our day fun and easy, and we will forever be grateful.”

“Choosing Aaron and Nanore Spagnolo as our wedding photographers was one of the best decisions we made. From the initial consultation to the final delivery of our breathtaking photos, the entire experience was nothing short of exceptional. On the big day, I had the pleasure of working closely with Aaron, and I cannot praise him enough. His easygoing and calming presence made the hectic wedding day feel like a breeze. Not only is he a phenomenal photographer with an incredible eye for detail, but he’s also a genuinely nice person who felt more like a friend than just a vendor. The decision to hire a photographer team proved to be invaluable. While Aaron captured every moment with me, Nanore was with my husband throughout the day, ensuring that both perspectives were beautifully documented. This dynamic duo allowed us to relive every aspect of our special day through their lens. The resulting pictures were nothing short of beautiful. Aaron’s artistic touch and keen sense of lighting made each shot a masterpiece. The backdrops for our photos were stunning, and the editing was flawless—a perfect blend of enhancing natural beauty without losing authenticity. “Aaron is a true artist: weird, lovable, and incredibly talented. His photos belong printed in National Geographic and hanging in art galleries. Aaron sees things that others can’t and captures mood and lighting in a way that completely breaks the mold of traditional wedding photography.
We chose to work with Aaron because he brings something different to the table. He doesn’t just capture the usual wedding photos of family members uncomfortably standing arm to arm with painfully forced smiles on. Instead he uses his day to find beautiful geometry in the building or light poking through a forgotten window. His photos are thoughtful, well-planned, and artistic. As a result of this, his subject and backgrounds blend together in a perfect unity that captures special moments in ways you didn’t think were possible.
Aaron is incredibly easy to work with and will keep you laughing throughout the day. You won’t regret working with him.”

They made what could have been a very stressful day easy-going and fun. They’re full of amazingly creative ideas, take exquisite photos and are never intrusive. Aaron doesn’t just take your average wedding portraits, he captures who you are as a couple and makes you feel totally at ease doing it. By the end of the night we hoped they would stay and drink with us, but they had to drive home—so they’re responsible too! THAT is what kind of Photographers they are. So amazingly awesome that you want to be their best friends, and the phenomenal pieces of art they create are just the perk.”

We were impressed by his experience and the contrast between their unique shots and others’ boring, traditional shots. “Working with Aaron and Nanore was fantastic. They were totally ready to hit the ground running as soon as they showed up. Absolute pros. Aaron was very responsive in the months leading up to the wedding: we traded ideas, devised a plan, and by the time wedding day rolled around, I felt confident that the job was going to be done to both of our satisfaction. I also felt extremely confident in the work that I was going to get from him. His portfolio speaks for itself really. I can’t say that I’m a very traditional bride, and I wanted him to capture some non-traditional shots in addition to all the traditional portraits, and to be able to stretch himself artistically. his eye is absolutely fantastic, and I couldn’t have imagined a better end product. He really excels at working with the conditions he is given to produce photos that are truly unique and awesome—photos that strongly represent his aesthetic, but also capture the essence of his subjects. Don’t let his laidback demeanor fool you—Aaron is all business, and he delivers. I’d hire him again and again. My wedding and my engagement photos absolutely rule.”

“My husband and I could not have asked for a better wedding photographer and the pictures from our wedding came out perfect (and we did not have to wait long to get the full wedding album!). Aaron was also extremely flexible and willing to work with me after I had to reschedule the date and place of my wedding due to the pandemic, for which I was so grateful since I’ve heard so many stories where brides working with other photographers have not been so lucky! Aaron and Nanore helped make our small wedding of 20 people feel extra special and they blended right into the mix while taking beautiful photos of us and our families. My husband and I are both not used to having ‘professional’ photos taken of us, and Aaron and Nanore put us at ease and made the whole experience a lot of fun. “Aaron, you and Nanore hit it out of the ballpark on the Fourth of July!!
We are so happy with the pictures we have seen so far! Our one worry, was the horror stories we had heard about people never receiving their pictures. You assured us that would not happen and promised we would see a preview within the week. You under promised and over delivered!!! You both have an amazing gift and great stamina! Our guests commented on how you seem to be at the right place at the right time at every moment. We cannot thank you enough for documenting the best day of our lives! We can relive it over and over again through the story you tell with each precious picture! We highly recommend you to anyone who is looking for something better than the standard wedding pics! xoxoxo The Gladstones & Poiriers!”

“WOW! What words do I have about our awesome experience with Aaron?! From our very first interaction, he was great!
Aaron is truly about capturing love….whatever that moment may look like. He is invested, really cares, and like someone else said [in Google reviews], his photography is an art. He’s amazing at what he does… We felt completely comfortable with him—and that’s important because we are a couple who identifies with the LGBTQ community.
Aaron himself is so awesome, fun, easy-going and such a pleasure to work with. He was also accommodating in so many ways (esp. bc it rained on us the whole time and he went along with capturing the fun in it!), and got us extra photos and such when we asked.
We are stoked about our wedding book, the incredible moments he captured, and that we have an amazing photographer for future events. THANK YOU, AARON!!! <3
Ps. He had said once that it’s the photographer that captures the moments/emotions, not the camera. So true. You do not want to pass up an opportunity of knowing this amazing spirit!”

“The way I picked my vendors might have been a little different than some brides: I needed to like your work and needed to enjoy the person or people themselves as people, since they are going to be part of my big day. Aaron and Nanore were those people. They were fantastic from the first meeting, always easy to get in touch with when needed, always answered all my questions. If you look at their work, you can see they are truly talented and I am beyond in love with my photos. “Aaron is simply awesome, and is a pleasure to work with! We booked him to photograph our wedding (and a post-wedding shoot), and we couldn’t have been happier with the experience.
He is warm/friendly, professional, patient, and was a good communicator throughout the entire process. He captured so many magical wedding moments, candid and staged, at our wedding which we’d never get tired of looking at. For the post-wedding shoot, Aaron suggested an excellent location in Andover. We had a myriad of stunning shots and we are obsessed with many of them. Aaron is truly gifted at what he does and
thanks to him, we have the photos we wanted to remember our wonderful day! Also, he was super punctual and reached the wedding venue even before the bride/groom parties arrived.

One more kind word, from a slightly different vantage point.
In 2021, Aaron’s portrait of New York Times bestselling author Chris Bohjalian graced the cover of Writer’s Digest. We’ll let Chris tell you the rest:
“There’s a story behind the cover photo on the new issue of Writer’s Digest. I’m in Yerevan, Armenia, with my friend Movses Babayan. I had slept two hours the night before because the Armavia flight from Lebanon the night before was delayed six hours, and I hadn’t shaved. At the time, Movses had one of the only Mini Coopers in the city. Late on a Saturday afternoon, we pop out of the car and we hear two people yelling hello. There are my friends Aaron and Nanore from Boston, just back in Armenia from #Artsakh, on assignment for The Armenian Weekly. We had no idea we were all in Yerevan. We had a great time the next four hours, including this moment: Movses insisted that I have my photo taken in front of the statue of Pulitzer Prize winner William Saroyan. He gave me his jacket and told me to turn up the collar and pose like Uncle Bill. Aaron is such a spectacularly gifted photographer (Spagnolo Photography) that THIS was the result. Thank you, Aaron.”
