A Modern Micro Wedding

Tucked into the heart of Boston’s South End, SRV, Boston—Serene Republic of Venice—is a Venetian-style bacaro and wine bar. It was the perfect setting for Narghes and David’s intimate spring wedding, and one of the top Boston small wedding venues for couples looking for charm and character.

The rain cleared just in time. Before arriving at the venue, we took portraits at Wellington Common Park. The trees were in bloom, and the Butterfly Meadow offered a quiet, colorful moment before the celebration began.

A Minimalist Patio Ceremony

Narghes and David’s wedding ceremony took place on SRV’s patio. Exposed brick walls and simple string lights created a clean, urban backdrop. There was no need for added décor—the space already had character.

At the center of the ceremony stood a sofreh aghd, a traditional wedding table. It was layered with symbolic items: pomegranates, decorated eggs, coins, walnuts, and sweets. The display was a beautiful nod to heritage and family—rooted in meaning and rich in texture.

A Cozy, Flavorful Reception

After the ceremony, everyone moved indoors. SRV served its signature Venetian small plates, creating the perfect backdrop for a micro wedding Boston couples will love. Guests mingled, laughed, and shared a meal in a setting that felt both intimate and lively.
